communication_smallOne of our clients within the service sector received indications from its stakeholder analysis that merely a quarter of the stakeholders actually knew about their sustainability report. Moreover, from the ones who actually read it, the response was not very encouraging. The stakeholders perceived the report as too extensive, incoherent and not very inspiring.

We approached the client asking if we could help them develop their sustainability report so that it would become more communicative (informative and appealing) to its intended audience.

Our work resulted in tailored guidelines for our client to follow during the creation of their next sustainability report. The following year the company released a sustainability report that clearly connected the sustainability strategy to the overall business strategy and to its stakeholders. The feedback from the company’s stakeholders on this report was almost diametrically opposed to the year before.
