Finding strategic goals and success factorsA company within the supportive services sector needed help in developing their sustainability effort. The company had recently received a new CEO who wanted to step up the company’s commitment to Corporate Responsibility (CR). As an actor within the B2B sector, the company had not yet felt the pressure from consumers on business ethics and social responsibility (which had sailed up as important aspects of CR during the recession). However, the company’s customers did demand that the company took a serious environmental responsibility, which it also did. This effort was now fairly extensive as they had a very committed environmental manager.
During three half-day workshop sessions, we helped the management team successfully identify strategic goals and success factors that supported the overall business vision and mission of the company. The result of the company’s new, broader approach to CR also created more commitment among company employees that now got more involved in the CR effort.
